You are the creator of your own reality: Whales and dolphin and sharks, oh my!

You are the creator of your own reality: Whales and dolphins and sharks, oh my!!

 I was playing with my two and a half year old grandson the other day. How fun is that! I get to do that pretty often because we live about 15 minutes from each other. Lucky Grammy. J And here’s what we were doing: sitting together on a big green leather couch, in the family room of my daughter’s house in Coconut Grove.

But not really. Not at all. What we were really doing was riding on a very big boat on the ocean, spotting whales and dolphins and sharks…and oh yes, fireworks! Max and I were on the coach and he was the director and I, a very, very willing participant. He says we’re on a big boat. Fine with me, I’m there. He shouts, “whale!”. I’m just as excited as he is. He points to somewhere out in the ocean we’re riding on and says, “dolphin!”. I love it!! I point to and am so excited to see a dolphin and we do the wave thing with our hands just like the dolphin going in and out of the water. And then he points and shouts “shark” and we both scream with delight and I pull my feet farther into the boat.

 Then it’s time for fireworks because he had just seen some a few days earlier on the Fourth of July. He tells me “they go up, up, up…and….BOOM!” Then we chant that together for a while with so much enthusiasm while looking up the ongoing fireworks.Then his stuffed animals are going up, up, up….BOOM! They are now the fireworks.

 Okay, so then we line up his stuffed animals on the floor against the coffee table and he hands me the toy guitar and he’s on the piano….I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL!! We’re both singing at the top of our lungs, singing the names of all the stuffed animals so they don’t feel left out of our very loud song.

Then we’re back on the big boat on the ocean with the sea creatures and the fireworks!! I’m having the time of my life and he is creating his reality and I’m co-creating with him.

 See, there is NO DOUBT in Max’s mind that all of this is reality. It IS his reality in this moment. He’s not struggling with ‘oh darn, this is really a couch, not a boat and who are we kidding about the whale?’ Nope, not for a second. I am totally in the experience with him, and what I know is that “real” or “virtual” or “Grammy, let’s pretend…” our reality and our biochemistry then and there, is that of boats and sea creatures and fireworks and rock bands, oh my!

 Who was it who said ‘become as little children…”? Oh that’s right, it was Jesus the Christ, the Master of Miracles. And this is what he was talking about. This business of having no resistance to the miracle of creation…whatever it is you’re creating.  

 If you are working with the Law of Attraction, you would do well to follow Max’s example. Absolute certainty. Absolute commitment. Absolute engagement. And so darn much FUN!

All of the great spiritual teachers are telling us that everything is an illusion of our own creation. So, why not create an illusion you really, really, really enJOY?  And you commit to it. You know the truth of it, just like Max. You experience it directly, with no left-brain, ego interference of the buzz kill of logic. Quantum physics theory tells us that all the possibilities already exist and we just need to align with them. Are you willing?

I didn’t know before I was with Max that day what my reality would be, but I was open to anything for the sheer JOY of it. It’s not about manifesting, you see. It’s about JOY. Always has been, always will be.
So go for the JOY and have a blast!
